Every spread has a job: move the story forward, hold a child's attention, and give a parent something new to notice on the tenth read. I work closely with authors and publishers from manuscript to final art — sketches, character models, color scripts — and digital mixed media.
THE WIDER PRACTICE
Illustration beyond the book.
The same instincts that carry a picture book — bold color, restrained composition, a little surrealism — show up in editorial art, branding illustration, and commissioned pieces for museums, healthcare, and hospitality clients through art esc.
